Public-record analysis · Sources reviewed October 27, 2026. Corporate proceedings and company statements are distinguished from allegations about individuals.

Identify the actual proceeding

The 2024 appellate case names Inhance Technologies and EPA. The 2025 disclosure complaint was filed by Inhance against the EPA administrator in his official capacity. Neither document should be relabelled as a criminal prosecution of Prakash Iyer. The nature of a proceeding is a basic fact, not an editorial detail.

A leadership question can still be legitimate

Senior managers can reasonably be asked about testing policy, transparency and customer communication. Those questions do not depend on alleging bribery, financial misconduct or a private scandal. A company’s environmental responsibilities deserve examination on their own terms, with the relevant decision and evidence identified.

The standard for stronger claims

Before attributing a disputed act to a person, an editor should obtain a source showing what that person did. A biography establishes a role; it does not establish knowledge of every event during the tenure. This guide therefore distinguishes documented corporate controversy from unverified personal allegations and does not assert that Iyer has been convicted of, or charged with, the conduct discussed here.
